"Dream with Jeanie"
Thanks for reading my bio! I am Jeanie Cole and I love Real Estate.
I was born in Indianapolis. More specifically, Irvington is where I grew up. My father was transferred to Lake Wawasee, IN when I was 14, so I attended Wawasee High School. After which, I attended Ft. Lauderdale Art Institute and then Ringling School of Art in Sarasota. I returned to Indiana in 1978, married, and raised 3 sons. I returned to Indianapolis in 1999 when my children were grown.
I have been involved in Real Estate for over 20 years, and I've had my actual license for 18 years. I was office manager for my family’s real estate professions in the 80’s. After which I obtain my paralegal certification and worked in law offices for 25 years.
My areas of paralegal work were real estate law, guardianship, divorce, foreclosure, probate, title insurance and many other areas which help me every day in real estate.
I have worked with big franchises such as Carpenter Realtors and Century 21 Scheetz for 6 yrs; and 5 yrs at RE/MAX. While at RE/MAX, I made the Executive Club Award every year; and I was chosen to mentor (train) new agents for 2 yrs.
In 2020, I began my own real estate company, The Jeanie Cole Team; including myself 2 new agents and 5 part time experienced assistants who help with marketing, social media, records management, accounting and fundraising/charity work.
Hobbies include volunteering, art & decorating, master gardening, Tri Kappa Greenwood, organizing my annual Scarecrow Madness fundraiser for Johnson County Senior Services, and my involvement with Midwest Corgi Club.
I work with Veterans as a member of Veterans Real Estate Network; and I work with Seniors as a Specialist. Recently I was honored to be selected as an Advocate for Seniors in the VASIA network in Johnson County.
I have a "make a friend a minute" personality. I really enjoy my career and look forward to many more years of serving my community in many ways!
